County Board to Consider Adoption of Farmland Preservation Plan
On October 27, 2016, the Portage County Planning and Zoning, Land and Water Conservation, and Agriculture and Extension Education Committees, meeting jointly, unanimously passed a resolution formally recommending adoption of the Portage County Farmland Preservation Plan 2016.
The full County Board will be taking action on the resolution at their November 10, 2016 meeting, which starts at 5:00 pm in the County Board Chambers of the County-City Building, 1516 Church Street in Stevens Point.
